The news story that I chose to write about is something that happened in May to our neighbor school, UNC Chapel Hill. This girl who was a student stole pro-choice signs around campus. Although this isn't really about communication, it is about law and values. My name is Dara Semerad, I am a senior with a strategic communications major. I am from a little town called Irvington in New York, I live about 45 minutes north of Manhattan. Although I am not majoring or minoring in advertising or marketing that is where my main focus is. I love being creative and making things look appealing and that's what I ultimately want to do after graduating from HPU. I want be part of a marketing or advertising company in New York City where I can share my creativity and collaborate with others.
